The city of San Diego raised a fund of $170,000 this year for advertising; pick up a Literary Digest, a Saturday Evening Post, and many other national mediums, and you will see a California ad got out by San Diego. One of their stunts Is to send out a postal card already stamped, on which you say you will visit California about 90 and ao, and they without charge will make you and honorary member of the San Diego California Club. And Salt Lake follows with a forty thousand dollar fund this year. |
