Show SUTHERLAND SEARCHLIGHTS The Sutherland Ward was organized organ-ized last. Sunday with Geo. R. Jackson, Jack-son, bishop; Reuben Turner, first counsellor; Andrew Jones, second counsellor, and Eugene Gray, ward clerk. The people are well pleased. w Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Finllnson visited vis-ited the W. R. Walker home Saturday evening. The T. N. Terry family are down with the measles. The Sutherland Primary celebrated Easter by taking their lunch and going go-ing to the sandhill for an outing, Monday afternoon. Some of the mothers joined them. It is reported that Miss Wanda Aldridge of Oak City, but well known in Sutherland, was married to Kirt Roper of Oak City, Monday, Mar. 28. All good wishes for them. Sutherland was well represented at the L. D. S. conference and at the Community Church Easter services in Delta on Sunday last. The Jolly Stitchers met with Mrs. Dix and Mrs. Austin last Friday. A large meeting was held and a very pleasant time was had by all. |
