Show FLOWERS FOR CONVICTED MEN Wyoming Cattlemen Convicted of Murdering Sheepmen Treated as Heroes While on Way to Priion. IluBln, Wyo. Treated as heroes and showered with flowers and delicacies, George Sabln, Kd. Kuton, M. A. Alexander Alex-ander and Thomas Dixon, under sentence sen-tence of twenty-four, twetiy, four and three years respectively, for the murder mur-der of Joseph Allemund, Zules LaIre and Joe Enge, sheepmen, April 2, 1903, left here Tuesday for the state penitentiary, their last effort to so-cure so-cure a writ of error and new trial having enit falluer. The men pleaded guilty to the killing kill-ing of the sheepmen, who were slain and their bodies partially cremated lu the burning of their camp outfits, but they recently went Lefore the court hero with a motion for a writ of error, claiming that they had been forceJ to plead guilty under duress aud through fear of mob violence. Attorney Sam King of Salt Lake7 haudled the case for the defendants, ar.d made a strong plea for a writ of error, but Judge l'armalee denied the motion, making It necessary that the Mien now serve their time.
