Show ing of the Seigler family togeth-j er with all its contents. We understand un-derstand there was no insurance and the loss is very heavy. Mr. and Mrs. Seigler had only left their home about 10 minutes when the fire occured. The cause remains unknown. When discovered by the neighbors, flames were bursting from the windows and doors and no entrance en-trance could be affected. Mr. and Mrs. Seigler have the sympathy sym-pathy of all in the loss of their commodious and beautifully furnished home. School opened at Woodrow Monday a. m, with 36 pupils enrolled. en-rolled. At noon the school was dismissed and the teacher and pupils spent the afternoon in cleaning the school house and repairing the out buildings. Unfortunately Un-fortunately however, the teacher and pupils cannot buy new shades or do away with the unsightly un-sightly pond from the flowing well which has remained a public nuisance and a menace to health now for more than a year- Neither Nei-ther can they plant the trees on the school yard which the law requires, and which were ordered order-ed by the local board, only to have the order cancelled as the first act of the school Board, under un-der consolidation. Unless such things can be remedied we will hunt for legislators who will vote for rescinding-the act of consolidation. Woodrow Items Sunday Sept. 24th, Rev. C. H- Hamilton will hold services at 7:45, p. m. Rev. Schmoock of Salt Lake, will hold Lutheran services the same "evening begining at 9:00, p. m. The Campbells announce that they did not care to live in the East and have returned to Fort Collins, Col. The Ontkos have settled at Beryl. Utah, having traveled overland 150 miles. Messrs Jerome Tracy and Norman B. Dresser attended the Democratic convention in Fillmore Fill-more last Saturday. Mr. Tracy stopped in Holden Saturday evening, witnessing the Mormon play "Corianton." He was greatly pleased with both the play and the talent displayed. Don.t forget the rousing political politi-cal meeting to be held in Wood-row Wood-row Thursday, Sep. 28th. Judge W. H. King, congressional nomine nomi-ne Walling, will be the speakers. We cannot afford to to miss the treat of listening to these excellent ex-cellent Orators.
