Show LOCAL p B. E. Cooper made a visit to Salt Lake City Tuesday, returning return-ing Wednesday. Mrs. Wm. Riding who has been visiting her mother at Brig-ham Brig-ham City, returned home the first of the week. Dewey Rosenbaum and Jack Kenelley returned to Delta the first of the week from Idaho where they have been working. Get your stove repair order in now. Aller came down from Salt Lake the first of the week for a visit with H. F. and son, Harry and wife, and friends. R. R. Betz, who is night operator oper-ator at the Delta station these days, was at Clear Lake last week a few days relieving the agent there. Mark Baker of Abraham has sold his farm to H. B. Lake and has gone to Ogden with his family fam-ily for a short visit before looking look-ing for a new location. Bishop Maxfield left Wednesday Wednes-day evening for Salt Lake where he will be busy for a few days with business matters. He expects ex-pects to return Saturday. Miss Mabel Richter who lives in Cali. and who has a piece of land on the North Tract arrived here last Friday and will teach school the coming winter at Sug-arville. Sug-arville. ' Misses Sylvia and Viola Turner Tur-ner who have been visiting in Washington county for the past three weeks, returned home last Friday night. They report having hav-ing an enjoyable time. J. H. Turner was in from the Deseret Mountain Mining Co's mine the first of the week. He reports things moving nicely at the mine and that they have opened up another promising lead of copper ore, and that the company has again put ore teams to hauling to Sugarville after a short layoff. |
