Show Dairy Cows for Delta Country Announcement was made in the Tribune the first of the week that Messrs. Jensen and King of the Mutual Creamery Co., a Utah organization, were to leave Salt Lake the fore part of the week for a tour of Southern Utah to arrange for the placing of a large number of the $1,000,000 worth of dairy cattle which the company is importing from the east. Among other places they are to visit is the "Greater Delta" country, where, if conditions are satisfactory and arrangements can be made with the settlers, something like 1500 cows will be placed. We hope this is true and that the prices and terms will be such as to allow this number of dairy cattle to be placed in our midst. There is no more fertile field for the dairy business than right here and there is no greater dividend payer on the farm than the dairy cow. |
