Show OAK CITY . . Phone your news Tuesday to Mae Shipley Memorial services were held at the Oak City cemetery under the direction of the American Legion. A nice crowd was in attendance. Major Black gave the memorial address. Soldiers graves received the usual honors. Many visitors and relatives visited Oak City during dur-ing the day. The cemetery was unusually beautiful with the many decorations and new markers. Mrs Jane R. Gurtsen of Salt Lake spent last week end visiting with her sister, Mrs A. M. Roper. She came down with Captain Stuart and his mother. Mr and Mrs Mark Anderson took their little daughter, Marva to Salt Lake for medical attention Monday. Mon-day. Mr. Cloyd Talbot visited his mother mo-ther at the L. D. S. hospital last week. Her condition is reported as very slightly improved. Mrs Caddie Anderson received a telephone call from her son, Cpl. Hans D. Anderson, who is stationed at Camp Beal, Calif. Mr and Mrs Geo. Shipley are very proud to announce the arrival of a new granddaughter, born to Mrs Eastin Swensen at the Delta hospital May 2D.
