Show DESERET . . . Phone your news Tuesday to Arprilla Scow Newell Cahoon and daughter Carolyn Car-olyn from Logan spent last week at the home of his parents, Mr. Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Cahoon. Mrs. Norma Hansen and daughter daugh-ter from Clearfield visited a few-days few-days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dewsnup. Warren Moody has returned home after spending the winter in California Cali-fornia with some of his children. The B & K Club met last week at the home of Zella Moody. A book was reviewed after which lpunch was served to club members mem-bers Rose Dewsnup, Zada Dewsnup, Dews-nup, Arlean Bennett, Mollie Dewsnup,, Dews-nup,, Ava Bennett,, Stella Black, Myrle Bennett, and Zella Moody. Guest was Mae Sehoenberger. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Webb and daughter Mrs. Floral Taylor made a trip to Salt Lake City this week. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Black from Tooele spent last Sunday at Des-eret. Des-eret. Mrs. Ada Black returned with them, where she will visit for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Warner and family from Burbank spent the first part of the week at Deseret. We're always glad to see them back in the Old Home Town. Among visitors at Deseret over Memorial Day, visiting with parents par-ents and friends were Mr. and Mrs. Fawn Bennett and son from Fillmore; Fill-more; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cahoon and son from Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. George Wilde and family of Eureka; Mr. and Mrs. Newell Knight and son from Tooele; Mr. and Mrs. Clark Allred from Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Moody and sons from Layton; Mrs. Allan Baker Ba-ker and Staniey Baker from Salt Lake; Verl Black from Provo; and Mrs. Eva Cheel from California. We certainly want to thank the American Legion for the fine program pro-gram which they presented at the Deseret Cemetery on Memorial Day as it was enjoyed by everyone. Mrs. Ina Barnes from Salt Lake City is visiting for two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Bennett. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson are visiting at Deseret with his mother moth-er Fern Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Moody and family from Salt Lake City visited several days at the home of his mother, Mrs. Effie Moody. Mrs. Rose Conk and family have moved to Tooele for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Webb are proud parents of a baby boy born at the Delta Hospital last week. Lt. and Mrs. Adolph Sehoenberger Sehoenber-ger and family from California visited vis-ited several days with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sehoenberger. Mrs. Inez Damron and family spent Memorial Day at Provo. Mrs. Erma Dean Croft form California Cali-fornia is spending a few days visiting vis-iting with friends and relatives. The closing Primary party foi this season was held Wednesday afernoon. A fine program was given giv-en and games were enjoyed by al' the children. A weinie roast followed, fol-lowed, which completed the daj nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sampson returned re-turned to Delta from a trip tt Salt Lake City, and Ogden. Thej took their daughter, Mrs. Dora Mil ler, to Salt Lake City to be operated oper-ated on for a goiter. Mrs. Jennif Miller made the trip with them. Mrs. Earl Watson, and childrer from Salt Lake City, have beer visiting with her father, Joseph D Mercer. Mrs. J. R. Mortensen left for Cal ifornia last Friday, to visit witl her daughter, Mrs. Dee Smith. Mrs. Elanch Works entertaine( at a trousseau tea Friday, May 26 at her home for her daughter Don netta. She was assisted by he two daughters Mrs. Delbert Crapo and Mrs. Grant Stevens, and als by Mrs. Lamont Works. |
