Show Hinckley Mother Dies At Home of Son Allie Young Taylor, 76, died at the home of her son, Lorenzo Taylor, Tay-lor, Tuesday, May 30 of natural causes. She was born in Smithfield Utah, March 12, 186S to Franklin W. and Nancy Leonora Green Young. She was married to John Henry Taylor June 24, 1896 in the Endowment House in Salt Lake. She was a member of the LDS Church and has been an aciive and faithful member. She served in the Relief Society, Sunday School, Primary Pri-mary and Mutual in Loa, Fremont and Hinckley for many years. She operated the post office at Fremont, Fre-mont, and was a graduate of Dr. Ellis Shipp's School of Nursing. She was the mother of nine children, chil-dren, six of whom survive her: John M. Taylor, Mountain Home, Utah; Aroet F. and Lorenzo I. Taylor Tay-lor of Hinckley; Alma E. Taylor of Mt. Pleasant; Orissa T. Young, Pin-gree, Pin-gree, Idaho and Leonora T. Muir of Beaver, Utah. She also raised three children of her husband's former wife, two of .whom survive her: Henry Taylor of Provo and Laura T. Craver of Denver. She has 44 living grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs Persis L. Y. Richards and Mrs Rhoda Y. Oliphant and an aged aunt, L, Lula Green Richards of Salt Lake City. She has four grandsons in the armed forces. Funeral services will be held at Hinckley chapel Friday, June 2, at 2 p. m. Interment will be in the Freemont cemetery. |
