Show WMC To Give Railroad Work High Priority Wherever railroad work is vital to the movement of freight and troops, referral of workers to railroads rail-roads will be given high priority by area directors of the war manpower man-power commission and such referrals refer-rals will be expedited by local offices of-fices of the U. S. Employment Service, Ser-vice, the WMC announced. An unprecedented un-precedented problem has been created cre-ated for railroads in manning for operations and maintenance' It is expected that these difficulties will not be confined to any one section of the country, for in addition to the great movement to our western west-ern ports, there will be an extensive exten-sive movement of materials to the Atlantic and gulf ports for shipment ship-ment through the Panama Canal. |
