Show NORTH TRACT Jay Bea Walker Hello Folks: The social event of last week was the husbands' party at the Woodrow Hall. Supper was served cafeteria style on card tables in the big hall. The card table with bouquet of roses (nearly real) and tall taper red candles formed the centerpiece. This was followed by dancing. Well if you had seen the older Jolly Stitchers doing their stuff you'd know why they were all stiff the next day. A few of the younger folks capered around in a jitterbug manner, but the old guard stayed mostly with the up-and-down-around pattern. Will Walker called for the Paul Jones. There were a number of guests present. The Losee brothers furnished fur-nished the music. "A good time was had by all." Mrs. Hamilton, wife of Rev. Hamilton, Ham-ilton, writes from Sanford, Florida, that she and the Rev. are visiting our Dr. Tracy. She is well and as busy as ever and was entertaining the Hamiltons in a lovely way. You know the Hamiltons were in charge of the Community Church for many years. Lavell Johnson is still visiting in Ihe northern part of the state and is improving in health, j Sunday evening Lamond, Rex and l Jay Bunker made a trip to Salt jLake City to be at the bedside of 'their father, Clifton T. The Indian was buried in a wash and the children never wanted want-ed to play there any more. Clifton Bunker will be long remembered for his never-ending kind acts to anyone in need. To his fine family fam-ily who survive we offer our sympathy. sym-pathy. Several of the Clark boys have seen each other and others from here they knew. Wilford Munster says to be sure and put in all the news from the Tract because he surely does enjoy it. The graveyard is all fenced. At another day we will have a Cleanup Clean-up day. ' See you all at the party for Leonard Le-onard Adams on Monday evening. As ever, Jay Bea. |
