Show Cotton Goods For Smaller Towns . Distribution of the 10,000,000 yards of cotton goods that is being , made available for the first quarter quart-er of 1945 to merchants in rural areas has been limited to merchants mer-chants who, in 1944, received less than 20 percent of their 1943 sales of cotton goods, the War Production Produc-tion Board reports. For the purpose of the distribution program, small towns and rural areas were defined as communities communi-ties of less than 25.000, WPB explained. ex-plained. No priority assistance was granted to retailers in towns with greater population. |
