Show Fillmore Miss Weds Deltan In Home Ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Josh Robinson announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, dau-ghter, Yvonne, to Mr. Jay Shurtz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frelene Shurtz, of Sugarville. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's ) parents in Fillmore on April 15 and was performed by Bishop Milton Mil-ton A. Melville. The bride wore a lovely gown of white slipper satin with long pointed sleeves and a train. Her wedding veil was of exquisite sheer nylon lace held by a headdress of white satin and pink forget- I me-nots. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies and white hyacinths. Miss Vaudys Day, of Fillmore, I was bridesmaid and was charming ' in a blue taffeta formal and car ried a nosegay of red and white carnations, with white hyacinths. Best man duties wre performed by rraiis Ashbv of Sugarville. After the ceremony a luncheon was served to the bridal party ' and immediate families. Mr. and f Mrs. L. 0. Palmer, aunt and uncle of the bride, were special guests. I For going away the bride wore a lovely ensemble with white ac-I ac-I cessories. The young couple will ' spend their honeymoon at Las Veg i as, Nev., Boulder City Hoover Dam, i and vicinity. On returning the bride I will continue her high school act-I act-I ivities and will be graduated from Millard high school and Seminary this spring. After the school season sea-son Mr. and Mrs. Shurtz will make their home at Sugarville. |
