Show 59 YEARS OLD Hinckley Vard Celebration At Reunion Friday Friday, April 28 will be the Hinckley Hin-ckley ward reunion celebrating the 59th anniversary of the ward. Plans are now completed and a gala event will be enjoyed by all those who participate. All present and former members of the ward are invited to join in this activity. AH persons who have been asked ask-ed to bring food are asked to bring it to the lunch room between the hours of 2 and 4 p. m. All children under twelve years of age are to meet at the ward meeting house at 3 p. m., where they will be entertained with a free picture show and refresh -ments will be served. All those over twelve are invited invit-ed to the program which begins in the ward chapel at 7:30. Chairman Chair-man of the program is Dolpha Bish op. The program will consist of a speech of welcome delivered by Bishop Walter Ekins; a tribute to the first heads of the various organizations or-ganizations in Hinckley given by Arvilla Workman; a violin duet rendered by Forest Merservy and Frank Hebert; a tribute to all the Bishops who have served Hinckley Hinck-ley ward given by Dana Pratt, and an instrumental trio with Roma Ekins at the organ and Ruth Talbot Tal-bot and May Cropper at pianos. Immediately following the program pro-gram unch will be served in the Hinckley high school gym at 8:30. This will be done cafeteria style. At 9:30 a floor show consisting of three numbers will be given. . A dance for the evening will begin be-gin at 9:30 with music being furnished furn-ished by Bud's Band, and a charge of 50c per couple for those who dance will be made. |
