Show Final Rites Held In Fillmore For Fred Chesley Funeral services for Fred Chesley, Ches-ley, 66, were held Wednesday afternoon aft-ernoon in Millard high school auditorium, aud-itorium, conducted by Milton A. Melville, bishop of Fillmore Second Se-cond ward. Mr. Chesley died early Monday of a heart ailment. He was the father of Mrs. Norma Pearson and Francis (Scott) Chesley, Ches-ley, of Delta. He was born in Hatton Nov. 20, 1883, a son of George and Mary Chesley. His early life was lived at Hatton until he was 19 years old, when he spent four years at Kimberly and then moved to Kan-osh, Kan-osh, his home for many years. For the past 14 years he had lived liv-ed in Fillmore, where he had been employed by Millard school district dist-rict as mchanical supervisor and custodian of the high school. He was well known in west Millard Mil-lard where he was a frequent visitor vis-itor at the homes of his children and highly esteemed by a wide circle of friends. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.Es-ther Mrs.Es-ther Poulsen Chesley and six children; chil-dren; Mrs. Dean Davies, Fillmore; Mrs. Pearson and Mr. Chesley, of Delta. Mrs. June Farnsworth and Christian Chesley, Los Angeles; & Marvin Chesley, San Juan Capis-trano, Capis-trano, Cal.; fourteen grandchildren; grandchild-ren; a brother, James Chesley, of Canoga Park, Cal., and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Rowley, Fillmore and Mrs. A. E. Smith, Salt Lake City. Burial was in the Kanosh cemetery, ceme-tery, following the Fillmore ser-' ser-' vice. |
