Show In Palomar Saturday East Millard Brings Concert By Civic Chorus East Millard Civic Chorus, including in-cluding sixty voices, will be heard in an exceptionally fine program Saturday night in Palomar. Their program includes four numbers by the ladies, three by the men, and six numbers by the combined chorus. There are also two special numbers. The program will be opended by the ladies with the popular and lovely songs "I Got Shoes," "I'll See You in My Dreams," " All the Things You Are," and "Without a' Song." The men's chorus will follow ufith ciifih fnvnritoc nc "Vrni' 1 anH and My Land," "By the Light of the Silvery Moon," and "When Day Is Done. Mrs. Golden P. Wright will give a reading, "Prelude," and Mrs. Roger B. Honeyman will give a vocal solo, "The Wren." Then the entire group will sing "The Bubble," " By the Bend of the River," "Clap Your Hands," "Big Brown Bear," " Alice Blue Gown," and conclude with the "Song of Praise." The Delta performance ,is sponsored spon-sored by the Desert Sentinels and Delta Junior Chamber of Commerce. Com-merce. The east Millard chorus is sponsored by the Fine Arts Guild at Fillmore. A large crowd is anticipated an-ticipated for the concert, as is indicated in-dicated by a strong ticket sale at 50 cents each. |
