Show Wedding Dance Honors Couple Mr. and Mrs. David Poulsen were honored at a wedding dance on Saturday night in the Woodrow hall, following their marriage earlier ear-lier that evening. The bride is the former Kathleen Fullmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Fullmer of Abraham. Mr. Poulsen is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Arch Poulsen of Sugarville. Bishop Gus Taylor of Abraham ward performed the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, in the presence of the immediate families. The bride was gowned in traditional tradi-tional white satin, with fingertip veil, and wore a corsage of pink carnations. Miss Dorothy Poulsen was bridesmaid, and Jay Fullmer was best man. Mothers of the young couple wore corsages of roses. Fall flowers formed the background, and a five-tiered wedding wed-ding cake was cut by the bride. Many friends attended the dance showering the young couple with best wishes and gifts for the home they will make in Sugarville. During the reception a program was given, with Vance Abbott as master of ceremonies. The girls trio, Mrs. Duwana Poulsen, Carol Sorenson and Virginia Clark, and Carl Oliver, sang a number. Mary Lin Abbott and Lorraine Shields gave a novelty number. Alva Young gave a reading, "Happy Tho' Married," and La Vonne Taylor gave a reading. La Voy Talbot sang "Oh Promise Me." Another vocal solo was sung by Kenny Boothe. I |
