Show Honor Memory Of Delta Mother In Final Rites Funeral services for Mrs. Rose May Day McCullough were conducted con-ducted by William S. Bassett, bishop, bis-hop, in Delta Second ward on Thursday afternoon of the past week. Mrs. McCullough, 58, died the preceding Monday. Her home had been in Delta since her marriage mar-riage to the late Thomas Clark McCullough in 1911. Prelude was played by Mrs. Olive Ol-ive Barney, and the opening prayer pray-er was by Hamilton McCullough. The opening song was "Mother Mine", sung by Mrs. Melba. Jac-obson. Jac-obson. E. Leo Lyman was first speaker, followed by a duet, "Whispering Hope", by Layton Bishop and Mrs. Betty Turner. June W. Black, president pres-ident of Deseret stake, was the following speaker. Both speakers, former bishops of the Second ward paid tribute to the memory of Mrs. McCullough as a faithful ward member and a kind ana loving wife and mother. . LaVoy Tolbert sang "Beyond the Sunset" and Bishop Bassett made j the concluding remarks. VWarren Henderson gave the closing prayer. Burial was in the Delta ecem-tery ecem-tery .where the grave was dedicated dedicat-ed by Ward Savage, a nephew, of Antimony. |
