Show Deseret LUCILLE SAMPSON Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Rowley and Eldon Rowley, and Mr. and Mrs. Loren Rowley and Waldo Black went to a wedding dance at Baker, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Ormus L. Dutson and sons spent Saturday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jesnen and children spent the weekend in Salt Lake City with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Roberts. Donnie Croft and Marlow Cropper Crop-per went to St. George Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Eliason and Cleo Eliason spent several days in Salt Lake City last week. The ones who made the temple excursion Friday were Mollie Dew-snup, Dew-snup, Hattie Cahoon ,Zada Dew-snup, Dew-snup, Mathilda Hales, Bert Hales, and Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bennett. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cahoon and son and Erma Dean Croft spent a few days in Salt Lake City during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cahoon and family from Fillmore spent Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. Orson Ca-i I1UUU. Claud Warner and son are visiting visit-ing Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Warner. Mrs. Margaret Hodges and her daughter and son from Grace, Idaho, are visiting her 'sister, Mrs. Luella Western and family. Thursday evening Mrs. Thurza Webb entertained at a supper for Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Black, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Black and Mr. and Mrs. Clive Black. Friday evening a birthday surprise sur-prise party was given Mrs. Mable Black. The guests brought pot-luck supper with them and presented Mrs. Black with a gift. Canasta was played by the following couples: cou-ples: Mr. and Mrs. Don Moody, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Black, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Black, Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Bennett, Vilate Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sampson and Mr. and Mrs. Clive Black. Mr. and Mrs: Eugene Young of Ely, Nev., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Cahoon. Mr. and Mrs. Layton Bishop are making a trip in California and old Mexico. |
