Show MAN KILLED AT LEWISTON BY ELECTRICITY Lewiston, Juno 29. Earl Wheeler, a young man about 24 years or age, was accidentally killed hero about 8:30 o'clock last evening when he was struck with 1100 volts of electricity elec-tricity from the high tension transmission trans-mission line of the Utah Power 4 Light company, which feeds Lewis-ton Lewis-ton with light and power. . In company with his two brothers, Simon Wheeler, Jr., and Leslie Wheeler, and Bert Fllppence, the young man, killed, was moving a hay derrick. The derrick cable came in contact with the transmission wires, and It was more than fortunate that all four persons were not killed. Simon Wheeler received bad burns on both hands and feet. Leslie Wheeler received burned feet and a burned shoulder. Bert Fllppence was burned on one hand and foot. The parents of the young man, who was killed, were at Black -Tines on their ranch at the time of the accident, ac-cident, and an automobile was sent for them immediately. They arrived in Lewiston yesterday afternoon. |
