Show Child Called to Its Rest ' OltBENVILLE, Feb. 10. The fourteen months old babytaf Mr. and Mrs. Philip Beck was buried on Sunday, Feb. 2nd, the- .cause of death being pneumonia. All was done that loving hands and kind hearts could do to save its life, but of no avail; and the lit tie sufferer passed into eternity. The funeral services were hold at the Greenville meeting house at 2 p. m. The services were presided pre-sided over by Bishop N. W. Crookston and began by the choir singing "Farewell All Earthly .Honors." .Opening prayer by John Jolley; singing, "Jesus Doctl All Things Well." Tho speakers were O. Ruchti, Otto cBrgencr, Loftcr Bjarnason, Ralph Smith, Bishop N. "W. Crookston. The last song was "Shall We .Meet Beyond The River j ' benediction by Andrew Nymnn. A long cortege followed tho remains to their last resting place in the city cemetery. The little one answered- tho summons that will be our lot some day, so let us set our lives in order that r we too,' may reap the blessings that will be the reward of the faithful. Mjny the comforting influence of our Father bo with the father and mother of the little lit-tle one. v Floral offerings were contributed in great numbers by friends. Farewell beloved baby, Thy body's laid to rest; Thy spirit gone to Jesus Where it dwells among the blest. On Wednesday evening Miss Susie .Ormond was pleasantly surprised by about thirty of her friends. All laden down with picnic pic-nic Jhey swarmed in on her and gavo her a gentle hint they had come to feast and be merry. The evening was spent in games, music and socinlpastime. Mrs. Julia Stallings and children chil-dren of Ogdcn, who has been spending a week in tho ward visiting vis-iting with her aunt, Mrs., Atonic L. Nelson, returned home on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. William Kingston Kings-ton have been visiting with relatives rela-tives in the ward the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nyman were visitors at Ilyde Park this week. The siek in the ward are all on the jmprove. Mrs. Minnie Ros-kelley, Ros-kelley, who has been sick for three months past, with child bed fever, is reported some better. |
