Show SUSC grapplersto host Cal State Fullerton Fri. The Southern Utah State wrestling T-Birds will close out their 1074-75 home season this Friday when they meet Cal State-Fullorton. Match time is at 7:30 y.m. in War Memorial Fieldhouse. This past week was a busy one for the T-Birds, losing to the No. 5 NAIA team, Adams State, 40-3, and Fort Lewis, 28-15. The 'Birds did beat New Mexico Highlands, 42-0 and Northwest Colorado, 27-9. 27-9. Against Adams State, Wayne Kilter (1H7) got the only win of the 'evening when he decisioned defending KMAC champ Ron Buffo, 4-1. On Saturday, SUSC took an early lead against Fort Lewis but going with only eight wrestlers the T-Birds forfeited two weights and lost. John Marshall (118), Joe Taylor (134), Steve Miles (150), and Kick Spjut (158) all recorded wins. Marshall's Mar-shall's win was by fall over Andy Carnero. Marshall and Carncro drew earlier in the season. Four T-Birds got pins against New Mexico Highlands-Marshall Highlands-Marshall (118), Taylor (134) Bitter (l(i7), and Drue Sylvester (177). Kilter's fall came in just :15 seconds, fastest fall of the season. The day ended with SUSC's win over Northwest Colorado. Taylor (134), Dave Lacy (142), Miles (150), Sylvester (177), Ritter ( 190), and BillTincher (HWT) all recorded wins, while Lacy, Ritter and Tincher were by falls. Coach Joe Lopour's young T-Birds T-Birds now stand with a record of 4-6 and will travel next Friday and Saturday (Feb. 7 and 8) to the Ninth Annual Biola Tour- , nament in La Mirada, Calif. The T-Birds placed third last season. Steve Miles (150), freshman from Salt Lake, has been named wrestler of the week. He went 3-1 this past week, losing only to'.
