Show PARAGON AH NEWS Parowan took her to Las Vegas to catch a plane for Texas. Mr. Arch Fotheringham traveled to Salt Lake City by bus on Mon. to spend some time with the Howard Fotheringham family. Miss Cheryle Siebert of Las Vegas has been here for a weeks visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Donald Siebert and has spent some time visiting with Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. Mrs. Lola 'Robb and Miss Shirley Fotheringham spent Wed. in Beaver visiting with their sister, Mrs. Marie White. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham traveled to Salt Lake City during the week to spend some time with their son Kenneth Ken-neth and his family. Kenneth and Bonnie have a new baby, a lb. girl which makes two boys and two girls for the young couple. The grandparents were to care for the other children while Bonnie was in the Hospital. Mr. George A. Topham was a dinner guest at the home of his grandson Dewey Topham in Parowan on Sat. The family was celebrating little Kimberly's second birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lister and family oif of Washington were in town on Sat. to visit with the John R. Lister family. Paragonah Ward is planning for a fund raising dinner to be held Thurs. evening Jan. 30 in the Ward Cultural Hall. A beef dinner is being arranged to be followed by dancing. Everyone is invited to bring their own dishes and come. By Hilina Lamoreaux Mrs. Irene Robinson and a group of her friends were to Cedar City on Tues. to spend the afternoon with Mrs. Cleo Edwards. Ed-wards. Mrs. David Pack and one of his friends were here from Salt Lake City for several days visiting with the Blaine Jones family and doing some remodeling at the Jones home. Rodney Jones came from Fredonia on Thurs. to join them in the project. Dave's wife Claudia and the two children arrived on Sat. to bring Mrs. Carmen E. Topham home following her stay in Plain City. Carmen has been with the Legrande Leigh family since last Oct. Mr. and Mrs. Ardell Talbot and family of Washington were Sun. visitors at the Orson Talbot home. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Talbot, daughter Karen, sons Mark and Curtis and the latter's wife Linda, all of Salt Lake City arrived here Fri. night to spend the weekend with the Renford Talbots and Mrs. Hannah Robinson. Mrs. Bertha S. Topham had Sat. visitors. Her brother-in-law Owen Hullinger and his friend Victor Slade were here from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux and son David traveled to Las Vegas on Sun. to meet their son Bradley who has been in Fort Hood, Texas. Brad is to be here on furlough for a time before going to Korea. Mrs. Janice Trimmer and her little son left for Texas a week ago to join her husband Rick. Janice has been living here for several months. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Benson Jr. of |
