Show Enterprise Fertilizer confab slated Farmers in Iron and Washington counties will be attending the Annual Fertilizer-Chemical Fertilizer-Chemical Conference sponsored by Farmers Co-op of Southern Utah at Enterprise and the Utah Cooperative Association. The theme of this year's conference is "Farming Priorities - 1975". Utah State University will furnish fur-nish the speakers for the program again this year. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6th, at the Beryl Community Center in Beryl Junction. A symposium entitled "Helping Farmers meet Production Demands" will cover such subjects as: "Fertilizer -Still a Good Buy" by Dr. Paul D. Christensen, Extension soils specialist; "Irrigation Alternatives" Alter-natives" by Richard E. Griffin, Irrigation Specialist, and "What's Ahead in Crop Production" by Ray Finch, Extension Marketing Specialist. Don Huber. County Agent, will act as coordinator. Following the free luncheon, the annual meeting of the farm cooperative will be held. Alma Holt, president of the Farmers Co-op of Southern Utah, will report on the activities of the Coop Co-op over the past year and John W. Thomas, manager, will submit his report to the membership. mem-bership. Election of new directors will also take place. While the meeting and luncheon lun-cheon are free, reservations should be made in advance with the Co-op, phone 878-2428.
