Show Air Force tests scheduled on SUSC campus Saturday The Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) will be administered at Old Main on Southern Utah State College campus on Saturday, 11 January 1975 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 206. Students who desire to enroll in Air Force ROTC must first take the AFOQT to be eligible to participate in the program. Anyone, male or female, who has two or more years of college left may take the test, and if fully qualified, enter the ROTC lieutenants in the United States Air Force and receive all benefits and privileges of active duty officer. Cadets have the security of knowing that upon graduation from college, they will have jobs with starting pay of over $10,000 a year. Students in Air Force ROTC receive $100 a month during their junior and senior years. Many cadets receive scholarships that cover full tuition, lab fees, incidental in-cidental fees and books plus the $100 a month, tax free. Those who are pilot qualified receive pilot instruction their senior year and have the opportunity to obtain a private pilot's license. After graduation, cadets are commissioned second |
