Show NEWS FROM SUMMIT The Young Marriods Group met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D( El Stapley the even, lng of Doc. 28 for their holiday party. Mr. and Mrs. David Dial are proud first time parents of a little boy. Mrs. Dial was guest of honor at a party hasted by Mrs. Frank Dalley, Mrs. Boyd Walk-t, Walk-t, Mrs. Doe White, and Mrs. Mrs. Donna Davenport A number of parties and famOly get-togethers were held here during Decom'ber. The annual Relief Society dinner party was enjoyed by the members and their partners. The Officers and teachers of the Primary Organization and their partners held their holilday parly jut prior to Christmas. Quenton B.wler. The MIA sponsored an enjoyable en-joyable New Years Eve party and early morning breakfast. All the Primary age children participated in a Christmas program the evening of Dec. 23 at the church. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whicker and family moved into their new home just before Christmas Christ-mas and the Dennis Dalleys moved from our community into their new home in Cedar City recently. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dalley were pleased with the arrival of a new grandson, born to their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dalley. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence Lawr-ence and family enjoyed a trip to Provo where they visited vis-ited with their son Keith and attended a BYU basketball frame just prior to the holidays They also enjoyed visiting Temple Square with lts Christ-mas Christ-mas lights and they traveled on to Ogden where they visited visit-ed with Mrs. Lawrence's mother, moth-er, Mrs. Iduma King. Dr. Aubrey Lawrence of Gunnkon, Colo, was here just before Christmas for an overnight over-night visit with his father, Wilford Lawrence. Mrs. Delos Dalton and daugter Marlene, also Miss Mary Beth Dalley made a trip to Provo recently. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hulet attended funeral services for Delsa Winsor Bradshaw in Pioehe, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith celebrated their Golden Wedding Wed-ding Dec. 19 with an Open Hourg hosted toy their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Richards. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley enjoyed holiday visits from most of their famiilly. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Munson and ron. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Aston and Miss Kathleen Dalley were all hera from the Salt Lake area. Visiting at the Earl Stapley home were their sons Michael of Salt Lake City and Joe and his family of San Bernardino, Calif. - v- r Mr. and "Mrs. Gayland Farrow Far-row and family Of California were holiday visitors at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Farrow. Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Davenport Daven-port were here from Kayenta, Ariz, to spend the holidays with their folks Mr. and Mrs. Jay Davenport. They aflso wished wis-hed with the Vergean Porter's in Escalante. Mrs. Von Davis and daughters daugh-ters Janice and Mrs. Chris Nelson visMed with their folks Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley. The Davis family lhv? in Price and M-s. Nelson was here from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hm!et entertained several times dur-in? dur-in? the holidays. Christmas ev,- all available family members mem-bers were together at the home of a son Carlisle and family. They entertained the members mem-bers of the School Board and their partners one evening. They alo viytted Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Jones and Mr. and Mrs. George Halterman of Enoch for dinner and vls'iting. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Glaser of Spalding. Neb. arrived here last week for a two weeks vis. it with Myra's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Richards. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Whicker of FiJlmore were here during the week for an over-night stay with their son and family, fam-ily, the Fred Whickers. Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Morton and family enjoyed a recent visit from Rodger's folks, Mr. asd Mrs. Cecil W, Lowe of Hawthorn, Nv: |
