Show NOTICE TO PUBLIC PUBLIC HEARING On the Design Features of a Proposed Highway Project which will Entail the Construction Con-struction of a section of Interstate Inter-state 70 from, Summit of Clear Creek Canyon Can-yon to Sevier Junction The State Road Commission of Utah herewith advises all Interested persons or groups of the proposed construction of Project No. 1-70-1(2)2. All are ereby invited to attend and to participate in a Dseign Public Hearing on said project pro-ject which will be held Thursday, Thurs-day, January 18, 1973, at 7:30 pjn., in the Joseph LDS Ward on US.-89 in Joseph, Utah. Governing officials of Sevier County and Richfield, Elsin-ore, Elsin-ore, Joseph, Sevier, Monroe cities have been advised. The approved location of the project is as follows: Beginning Begin-ning Clear Creek Summit on existing S.R. 4 at the end of present 1-70 construction, the alignment, then diverges to the south of S.R. 4 and proceeds pro-ceeds easterly on new alignment align-ment across Mud Flats to Midi Creek Canyon; follows Mill Creek Canyon to its confluence conflu-ence with Clear Creek Canyon and then continues easterly generally along S.R. 4 to Sevier Sev-ier Junction. Proposed design features to toe constructed consist of 15 miles of interstate highway with two 12-lfoot traffic lanes, a 10-foot and a 4-foot shoulder should-er for each direction of traffic traf-fic on independent alignment separated by a minimum median med-ian width of 64 feet. Two diamond dia-mond interchanges and 8 major structures are included Is this proposal.
