Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids or proposals will be accepted by Cedar City Corporation until the hour of 5:00 p.m. on January 18, 1973, for the following described de-scribed work upon the Cedar City Municipal Airport: Construct a Fire and Rescue Equipment Building; install a 4-Box VASI on runway 2; install a 4-Box VASI on runway run-way 20; approximately 6,750 feet of cable trench; approximately ap-proximately 22,000 feet of underground cable; and miscellaneous vault equipment equip-ment to be installed in the terminal building. Proposals will be opened and read aloud in the city and county building, at the regular meeting of the city council, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., January 18, 1973, by the mayor and city council. Instructions to bidders, special spec-ial specifications, bidding forms, contract documents and construction details together to-gether with the form of bonds and all other applicable information in-formation may be obtained from RALPH B. PLATT, Consulting Con-sulting Engineer, P. O. Box 398, Cedar City, Utah 84720, for a deposit of $25.00. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all the applicable Federal labor laws, including the minimum wage rate decision of the U.S. Department of Labor. The contract is under and subject to Executive Order 11246 of September 24, 1965, and to the Equal Opportunity Clause. The biuuer must supply all the information required by the bid or proposal form. A contractor having 50 or more employees who may be awarded a contract of $50,000 or more and subcontractors having 50 or more employees and who may be awarded a subcontract of $50,000 or more will be required to maintain an affirmative action program, pro-gram, the standards for which are contained in the advertised adver-tised specifications (41 CFR 60-1.40). A Certification of Nonsegre-gated Nonsegre-gated Facilities must be submitted sub-mitted prior to the award of a federally assisted construct-ion construct-ion contract exceeding $10,000 which is not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Op-portunity Clause. Contractors receiving federally fed-erally assisted construction contract awards exceeding $10,000 which are not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Clause will , be required to provide for the forwarding of the following notice to prospective subcontractors subcon-tractors for supplies and construction con-struction contracts where the subcontracts exceed $10,000 and are not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Op-portunity Clause. The right is reserved to reject re-ject any bid or all bids and to make the award in the best interest of Cedar City Corporation; to waive any irregularities ir-regularities or informalities in any bid in the best interest of the CITY.
