Show District Engineer to be named at Friday meeting A new Engineer' for District 5 of the Utah Highway Department De-partment will be named Friday Fri-day at the meeting of the State Road Commission to be held in St. George, it was announced an-nounced this week. The new Engineer will succeed suc-ceed C. V. Anderson, who has been appointed to succeed Blaine J. Kay as State Highway High-way Engineer. In addition an update on construction status of 1-15 from St. George through the Virgin River Gorge will be discussed by the commission. The State Road Commission holds regular meetings, twice a month, with one usually scheduled away from the metropolitan met-ropolitan Salt Lake City area, to provide members of the commission with an apportun. ity to meet with local officials and discuss their problems. These meetings are open to the public. The meeting Friday Fri-day will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held in the Washington Washing-ton County Courthouse. |
