Show PARAG0NAH NEWS at the James H. Anderson home one evening last week. Mr. and Mrs. Cal Smith of Sandy visited here from Thurs. to Sat. with the Boyd Robinson and Clark Lamoreaux families. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Elmore and three daughters of St. George visited here on Sun. with Phyllis mother, Mrs. Nina Robb. Mrs. Orilla Lister and her daugher-in-law Mrs. Garna Lister left for Salt Lake City and Ogden on Sun. They went to visit with Mrs. Carol Butterfield and members of her family in Ogden and to keep a Doctor's appointment ap-pointment in the Capitol City. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux and their son Brad traveled to Tooele and Layton for the weekend with the Jerry Mortensens. and James Lamoreaux families. They took Mr. William T. Davenport to Salt Lake City to spend some time with the Kay Hansen family. Victor and Reva Matheson and their son, Vance of Cedar City were Sat. visitors here with Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson. By Hilnia Lamoreaux Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson traveled to Orem on Mon. to visit until Thurs. with their son Elmo and his family. They also spent some time with Irene's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamoreaux and were visited by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Robb of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Valerie Ivie and two little girls of Duchesne and Mr. and Mrs. Homer Lamoreaux of Provo. Alan and Jeffrey Stonebreaker of Cedar City were here to spend the weekend with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Topham. Mr. Sam Cutler arrived home on Thurs. after working in Nev. for a time. Miss Shirley Fotheringham visited in Beaver from Thurs. to Sat. with her brother-in-law and sister, Jack and Marie White. Mrs. Miriam Limb and granddaughter Brook and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Low all of Beaver were in town during the week to visit with the James H. Andersons An-dersons and help Mrs. Anderson celebrate her birthday anniversary. an-niversary. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Anderson, their daughter Gail Burrows and her husband all of Kanab visited Mr. and Mrs. Kay Lamoreaux and daughter, Diane traveled to Minersville on Sat. to visit with Mrs. Janet Carter and Little daughter. The Misses Carolyn and Annette An-nette White of Cedar City visited here overnight recently with their grandmother, Mrs. Idella Robinson. The Aaronic Priesthood and young ladies met at the Ivan Robb home on Tues. of last week where they enjoyed the evening with Elder Alma Adams of Parowan showing his slides and talking about his mission to Scotland. Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux traveled to Layton and Salt Lake City recently and on Wed. of last week Mr. Lamoreaux entered the LDS Hospital for a series of tests. Latest reports were that he was out of the hospital and to the Burton home in Layton and would be home soon. Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Robb and children of Logan were here for the last weekend of Jan. to visit at the Ivan Robb home. Other visitors at the Robb home were Vivians daughter Miss Connie Ferguson of Las Vegas who was working at Brianhead for a week and the three children of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Murie of Cedar City who were here for a couple of days. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Gale of Beaver were in town on Sun. visiting with family members. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham arrived home last week after being in Salt Lake City to welcome their new grandchild. The change to the new Post office facility was effected on Fri. last and Sat. morning people picked up their mail at the new location on Center street just east of Les Service Station and grocery store. |
