Show Parent and players extend thanks to Coach for successful league season We wish to thank the score keepers and the umpires who donate their time and are subject sub-ject to a certain amount of criticism during the games no matter how fair they try to be. Last but not least a special thanks to the City and the sponsors who give support and financial aid. The Parowan Paro-wan Cafe, the Orioles; Bank of Iron County, the Pirates; and Parowan Lions Club, the Dodgers. Thank you. i Parowan Orioles and their parents The parents and team mem. bers of the Parowan Orioles Little League baseball team , wish to extend a public thank you to Chuck Clinton, the team manager and League president. Chuck has done an out-. out-. standing Job organizing the league, and helping his team learn enough good baseball to go through the season undefeated. un-defeated. Both Clinton and Ronald Bess, team coaches, have set outstanding examples exam-ples of sportsmanship for the boys to follow. They have spent many hours with the team plus the cleaning and keeping up of the park in its good shape. Mr. Clinton also spearhead, ed a successful drive- to raise money to buy new uniforms for all the Parowan teams next year. Our thanks to the other coaches and mangers for the time and effort they have given giv-en their teams this season. Mr. Hargrove who has spent many hours practising with his team the Dodgers and Cris Bentley, manager of the pirates. They can all be proud of their teams and the. way they conducted themselves during the season. |
