Show Council gives OKay to Chamber building proposals Authorization was given at the meeting of the Cedar City Council Thursday for the installation instal-lation of portable restrooms at the Painted Hills Municipal Golf Course. The two units, prefabricated, will be installed just south of the No. 6 tee, according to Mayor May-or Loren Whetten. In other business the Council f;ave tentative approval for the release of property on the Cedar Ced-ar City Municipal Park for the construction and development of a Cedar City Chamber of Commerce office building. It was indicated that in addition ad-dition to offices for the Chamber Cham-ber the building is being designed de-signed to include a board room mainstreet and adjacent to commercial property on the north. Mayor Whetten also indicated indicat-ed that the Center Street oiling project f?om 800 West to the Interstate Highway 15 overpass will be completed this week. Preparation of the road has been completed and the oiling portion of the project will be completed this week. The oiling project was high on the priority list of oiling projects this season, the Mayor stated.
