Show High school offers conditioning program, clinic It has been announced by Coach Dave Jenson that a football clinic for boys who will be In the 3rd grade thru the 8th grade this coming year will start with reglstra-tion reglstra-tion Monday, July 16 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the high school gym. All boys re. gardless of size or experience are encouraged to participate. Coach Jenson stated that a little league football program pro-gram will be offered in Par-owan Par-owan this fall for boys in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Those who plan to participate In i litle league football are es. pecially urged to enroll In 1 the clinic. Basic football fundamentals will be taught, however, no contact will be allowed. The clinic will cover four weeks, five days a week, one and one half hours a day. The time of day will be set after registration. There will be a $1.00 registration reg-istration fee and insurance is offered for the clinic for only 50c, however, an Insur- unL-e waiver js avaiiaoie 11 parents have insurance covering cov-ering such activities. Coach Jenson has also an. nounced that the pre-season conditioning program for Parowan Par-owan High School football will begin July 16 with reg. Istration from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the high school gym. Registration fees and insur-ance insur-ance will be the same for this program as the clinic. Coach Jenson Is very opto-mistic opto-mistic about the coming year. "We have some fine talent and a positive attitude, by starting our conditioning now, we should be strong and in good shape for our first game August 24th against North Sevier at Sallna," he stated. Jenson expects some 50 young men to be envolved In the conditioning program. The time of day for this program will also be set after registration is completed, |
