Show PROJECT I PARAG0NAH NEWS wound. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and others were in Beaver on Thurs. for the funeral service. Sat. was big "Dixie Day" for the Aaronic Priesthood boys and the young ladies of corresponding correspon-ding age. Twenty one young people and their leaders traveled to Dixie for the afternoon and evening. They Swam at Veyo then went to St. George where they visited the Temple grounds, enjoyed a restaurant dinner and then went bowling and skating. A very enjoyable time for all concerned and one that has become a yearly tradition. A number of Paraeonah Deoole were to Woods Ranch on Sat. to attend the annual Utah International In-ternational Steak Dinner. Miss Judy Talbot is on a fine vacation trip this week. Her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mellow and family of Lake Shore picked her up on Fri. enroute to San Diego, Calif. daughters traveled north on Mon. to keep Doctors appointments ap-pointments in Salt Lake City and to visit for a few days with relatives in Orem. They were accompanied by John Russell Robinson who was returning home to Orem after spending most of the summer here with the Dale Robinson family. Mrs. LaPriel Linford of Henderson, Nev. was a weekend visitor here Aug. 10 with Mrs. Gwen Jones. On Mon. the two sisters traveled to Salt Lake City to be near their brother, Clem Englestead of Panguitch who underwent surgery during the week to have a leg amputated just below the knee. Mr. Englestead is reported to be making satisfactory progress and Mrs. Jones returned home on By Hilma Lamoreaux Leslie Hulet arrived home on Thurs. after a successful season at horse racing in New York. This past weekend he went to Ely to ride taking his wife Ginger with him. The children were in Parowan with grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Hulet for the weekend. Mrs. Patty Christiansen and the five of her children who had been visiting here left for their home in Calif, on Mon. Mrs. Iras Jones traveled to Idaho Falls on Mon. of last week with her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Warren Smith. They went for the Temple wedding of Mrs. Jones granddaughter, grand-daughter, Miss Louise Gordon of Lewiston, Idaho. Mrs. Jones accompanied family members back to Lewiston for the wedding reception which was held later in the week. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Manzione and their family of Tooele visited here with Mrs. Idella Robinson from Mon. to Fri. During the week Gordon took all of his children and the four daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Robinson to Horse Valley for a two day camping trip. Mrs. Mary Robinson had weekend visitors. Her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Peck and their daughter Dianna Sue were here from Brigham City and Mary's brother, Lynn McConkie and his wife and their young granddaughter grand-daughter came from Vernal. All attended the Holyoak reunion in Parowan on Sat. Mr. and Mrs. William Williamson enjoyed having William's sister, Mrs. Lareta Abbott and members of her family with them for the weekend and the Holyoak reunion. Mrs. Abbott comes from Provo as. does her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Dick Mecham Another daughter Mrs. Donna Sunday and her five children were here from Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Don Barton and Mrs Carmen Topham also attended at-tended the Holyoak family reunion. Mr and Mrs. Chester Robinson traveled north on Wed. for an overnight visit with relatives before going on to Salt Lake City for medical help. Irene entered LDS hospital on Thurs. where doctors were testing to determine deter-mine the advisability of giving her a pacemaker to regulate her heart beat. Mr. and Mrs. Antone Robinson and four children traveled to Salt Iike City on Mon. and returned here on Wed. Connie's mother, Mrs. Hara took care of their things here during their absence. Mrs. Kristine Thornton, Mrs. Delores Robinson and her three Sat. Mrs. Venetta Colmere of Salt Lake City spent last week here visiting with the Lagrand Robb family. On Sat. Mrs. Robb, Miss Shirley Fotheringham, Mrs. Colmere and Mr. Arch Fotheringham traveled to the Capitol City. Lola and Shirley will spend the week in Provo for Education week at BYU. Mrs. Roene Lund and her sister Mrs. LaVon McGookin spent last week in Salt Lake City doing geneology work. Mr. McGrokin stayed here with Wilson. The McGorkins have now returned to their home in Long Beach Calif. Mr. Errol Lamoreaux was to enter the Ogden hospital on Mon. for tests which would possibly be followed by surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton were in Salt Lake City recently for a visit with the Bill Inglesbys. When they returned home they brought the boys Gene and Shane here for a visit. On Wed. of last week they took the boys to Pipe Springs and left them to visit with their other grandmother. Diane Lamoreaux was to Minersville last week for an overnight visit with her sister Mrs. Janet Carter and then brought Janet and Monica here for a few days. Miss Sue Dunton of Cedar City was here from Thurs. of last week for a vacation visit with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dunton. Her sister, Connie joined them for the weekend. Michael. Laurie and Kenny Miller of Cedar City spent the weekend here visiting with their ' aunt and uncle, Marsha and Dean Robinson and family. Mrs. Mina Brown and four boys of Cedar City were Sun. visitors at the Joe Lamoreaux home. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson An-derson were to Beaver several days last week because of the death of their grandson, Eddie Lou. The young man died at home of an accidental gun shot |
