Show High School registration slated Further details concerning registration and schedules may be acquired by contacting the school. Special activities, such as competitive athletics for both boys and girls will be held prior ' to the 9 a.m. class schedule and 1 after 3:30 p.m. A change is also announced in driver's education. Tfcis year '" credit will be given for drivers education and students will have to register for another class of comparable credit. AdditionaJy drivers ed will be taught by the quarter and can be taken only nine weeks before the student's birthday. Schedule of registration for Cedar City High School students was announced this week by Jerald Hawley, principal. Registration will be held Tuesday, August 26 with classroom instruction to begin on Wednesday, Aug. 27. Seniors will register at 10:30 a.m. Junior's and sophomores will register according to alphabetical order. Students with last names N through Z will register from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students with last names beginning with A through M will register from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Principal Hawley pointed out several important changes in this year's program. Junior students will be required to have a hearing examination and sophomore students will be required to have an eye examination prior to registration. The examinations will be given at the school prior to registration. Additionally all students will be required to register for classes from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. " |
