Show County holds successful 4-H Camp In July 357 Iron Co. 4-H members and leaders enjoyed camp activities at Webster Flat campgrounds. Activities included Flag raising ceremonies, group singing, skits, lummi stick, dutch Nature Hunt - Mini Muchers, I Crafty Fours, Lucky Spoons with Val Armstrong having the highest score. Lummi Stick winners were 1. -Jackie Adams and Sharon Taylor. 2. Susan Imlay and Tami Anderson. 3. Cathy Jensen and Marian Decker. 4. Lea Jones and i Lisa Wright and Lisa Jones and Lanae Murie. Prizes were given for the best rock painting and all other contests. : oven, rock painting, clean camp, personal and camp identification contests. Officers of younger camp were Mayor Clarence Grey, Mayorette, Lynette Jolley, Scribe Michon Gentry, Chief of Police, Tex Carter. Winners were named as follows: Camp I.D. 1. Muffets. 2. Frito Banditos. 3. Mighty Munchers. Honorable mention - Lucky Spoons, Somores, Flour Power and Groovy Gourmets. Clean Camp - 1. Somores. 2. Frito Banditos, 3. Five Country Cooks. Honorable Mention - Kitty Kookers, Kool Kid Kookers, Butterballs, The Muffeteers. Skits - 1. Crafty Four. 2. Groovy Gourmets, Sunshine Chefs, Lucky Spoons. 3. Kittie Kookers, Honorable Mention -Minnie Munchers, Five Country Cooks, Dutch Oven contest. 1. The Somores. 2. Frito Banditoes. 3. Mini Muchers.
