Show Fotheringham recites wedding vows y 'lit T" " ' ' flowers. Sharing the honor of best man were the bridegroom's brothers, Phil and Ed Johnson. The ushering was done by David and Bob Fotheringham, Danny Karren, Terry Allen, Johnny Batista, and Paul Stanfill. The mothers of the bridal pair wore pale blue floor length gowns of lace accented with corsages of yellow roses and garden flowers. Greeting guests in the outdoor setting of garden flowers and plants were Mr. and Mrs. Wes Iligbee, an aunt and uncle of the bride's. Mrs. Phil (Helen) Johnson was at the guest book. Special guests at the wedding and reception were Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Brown, an aunt and uncle of the bridegroom's and various relatives and friends from (he Salt Lake, Price, and Vernal areas. The bride is a graduate of Cedar High and is now attending SUSC where she is majoring in Elementary Education. She is particularly active in singing groups. Mr. Johnson graduated from Uintah High and is attending SUSC majoring in Secondary Physical Education. He is active in athletics and has attended Kicks College, USU, and has spent two years in Germany in the U.S. Army. The couple will live in Cedar City while finishing their degrees at SUSC. Prior to the wedding the young couple were guests of honor at an open house in Salt Lake City. MK, AND INI liS. JAMES S. JOHNSON Miss Debra Marie Fotheringham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Bruce Fotheringham became the bride of James S. Johnson in a double ring ceremony August 1 . Bishop Dee Cowan officiated. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Johnson of Vernal. Setting for the wedding and reception was the Garden at the home of the bride's parents. The bride's floor-length gown featured an empire waistline with a bodice of Alencon lace. The long sleeves and skirt were made of layers of chiffon. Her floor-length veil was held with a chapeau of Alencon lace and she carried a bouquet of yellow long-stemmed long-stemmed roses. Matron of honor was Mrs. David (ShaRee) Fotheringham, a sister-in-law of the bride. She wore a blue floor-length crepe dress and carried a basket of garden flowers. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kent (Kathy) Bladen, Mary Ellen Schmutz and Denise Johnson. They wore yellow floor-length dresses in a floral print and also carried baskets of garden |
