Theme for the conference was "Catch The Vision of Primary" and teachers were in attendance from all wards in the stake. The meeting was conducted by primary stake president Mar-jorie Mar-jorie H. Evans. Devotional music was played by Ola 0. Robinson. A short address was given by High Council advisor Willis Robinson. Departments were held for each group along with a preview of coming primary events and programs. Stake leaders who also participated on the program and gave helpful instruction were Elaine S. Adams, Constance M. Stewart, Jennie H. Sherratt, Geraldine S Matheson, Emily D. Graff and Marjorie R. Christiansen. A scripture was given by Stake secretary treasurer Vanna P. Matheson. Closing prayer was by Cornell Hollinger a counselor in the Summit Ward Bishopric. After the meeting the group retired to the cultural hall where displays had been set up in every department to help teachers "Catch the Vision of Primary" and everyone enjoyed a cookie and punch treat. PATHETIC SIGHT. Mary Dyer and Bryce Emett, Young Adult leaders in the SUSC Summer Branch are asking for some help for this mare that has apparently been crippled and ahanded southwest of Cedar City near the "Tipple." The mare lias been observed in the area, unattended for several weeks. The Young Adults would like to find the owner for permission to take care of the animal. If not contacted they hope to contact authorities to receive permission to provide humane treatment treat-ment for the mare. |
