An enthusiastic outdoorsman, Dr. Moss resides with his wife, LuJean and their six children in Cedar City. Orginally from Nebraska, the entire family is very much at home in southern south-ern Utah, and the weekends find mom, dad, four boys and two girls heading for the ski slopes in the winter and the lakes in the summer. 1 1 Dr. Dan E. Moss, Cedar City's flying dentist, has been appointed ap-pointed to serve as the Director Direct-or of Dental Activities of the recently formed Southwestern Utah Health Department. Dr. Edward W. Bird, Interim Director Di-rector of the Department, stated stat-ed this week that Dr. Moss was selected after a review of all possible applicants in cooperation co-operation with the Southern Utah Dental Society. Dr. Moos is an avid aviation enthusiast and has maintained his own plane for the past several sev-eral years. Specializing in orthodontia, or-thodontia, he maintains offices in both Cedar and St. George and treats patients from the entire Southern Utah area. In his new duties, Dr. Moss will be traveling extensively throughout the Five County area finding ways to improve dental care throughout the district. dis-trict.
