Division of Wildlife Resources biologists from the state's five regions all report rabbit numbers num-bers are very low. Biologists have found that rabbit populations popula-tions are cyclic, and that populations popu-lations fluctuate on about a ten year basis, Utah's rabbits are apparently in their low population level of that cycle. Southern Utah reportg Jack rabbits are found In Isolated pockets west of iRlcMield and Cedar City. Numbers have dropped down from last year, however. Cottontails are found In groups, but few and far between; be-tween; and only those familiar with locations of the cottontails ! should make the trip. I |
