Show Gurr reunion draws 84 descendants PAROWAN - ..Eighty Four descendents of William H. and Anna Hansen Gurr held a family reunion on Saturday July 5 at the historic Rock Church in Parowan. A delicious dinner was served followed by a program with representatives from the Peter H. Gurr, William J. Gurr and James Edwin Gurr family narticipating. A film strip "Mr. Smith comes to Town" was shown in keeping with the geneological research program for the Gurr organization. Out of town members who attended included Mrs. Gordon (Leone) Gurr, daughter Deane and son Gary from Kaysville. Three children of Kenyon Gurr and their children. Dr. and Mrs. (Marsha) Kent G. Richards, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert (Leslie) Jennings, Jen-nings, both of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Brad (Corie) Hayss, San Diego, Calif., Granddaughters Grand-daughters of James Edwin Gurr. Mrs Grace Elaine G. Jones. Ukiah, Calif., daughter JoLayne, student at BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Forster and son Paul of Roy., Karen Forster and David Marriotti, Provo, the Joseph (Joyce) Hamiltons of St. George, Barbara H. Christian and daughter, St. George. The Leon (Jerrolynn) Hyatt family from Denver, Colo, and the Donald Gurrs of Bountiful. Heber Gurrs family from Beaver attended with daughters Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Kathy) Lamb, Bloomington, Mr. and Mrs. John (Debbie) Graff, Cedar City, Ola G. Corry and daughter Ann Frehner and children of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan (Mina G.) Orton family Cedar City.
