Show Anderson, Neilson recite nuptial vows Ushers were Jim Anderson, Jack West. Terry Sou lh and Kurt Niclson. Joni I'cierson was 'at the guest book. Klaine Cain and Dorothy Niclson presided at the gilt table. Colleen and Linda Bishop were at the punch bow l and serving were Sonja and Carma Finlinson and Cindy Bishop. The cake was made by the mother ol the bride. It was a fruit cake with six layers decorated in white with white lace around one layer with a 12 inch glass tube holding the small layer with real red roses on the top of the cake. The hall was decorated in pink and maroon and bouquets of flowers. The backdrop was pink with red roses and canclelabras. Tables had pink lace tablecloths with a centerpiece of (Ionic shaped glass covering pink and maroon flowers. Jim Anderson, brother of the bride, was MC for the program. The lather of the bride gave the prayer. A quartet. Kay, Annette, Kay and Kainda Christensen sang "True Love" and "Hawaiian Wedding Song". June West, a sister gave a reading, "the men in my little girls life." Maria Finlinson played a piano solo. There was dancing for the remainder of the evening. A wedding dinner was held Oct, 4, 1974 at the rnulti purpose room at the Oak City church in honor of Myrle Anderson, (laughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Anderson and Kim Nielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy D. Nielson of Cedar City, Forty five people were in attendance including brothers and sisters grandparents grand-parents and other relatives. Following the dinner, the wedding was performed by Bishop Keece, Finlinson. The bride was given away by her father. Kings were exchanged following the ceremony. The bride was attended by Ann Christensen, Maid of Honor; bridesmaids were Jill Nielson, Kathy Nielson, June Mayficld, Mary Ellen South, June West, Maria Finlinson, Shanna South was the flower girl. The best men were Jeff Bulloch and Robert Haider of Cedar City. The bride was beautiful in her gown of chiffon and lace bodice trimmed with chiffon ruffles and pearls. It had a high neckline and long sleeves with lace ruffles around the lace cuff. Lace panels ornamented the front and a chiffon ruffle was at the bottom. Her veil of brides allusion and lace formed a long train with a waist length over veil caught to a tiara of seed pearls and lace. A reception was held at the cultural hall. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations which surrounded a white orchid. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of red roses and carnations. car-nations. Flower girls held white baskets containing thank you notes and pink carnations. The bridesmaids dresses were of pink nylon crepe.
