Kimball Weaver, Area Consultant lor the LDS Social Serivces, has been chosen to appear in the first annual edition ed-ition of "Outstanding Professionals Profes-sionals in Human Services". This national reference directory di-rectory will Identify "Who's Who" in the agencies, institu-tions institu-tions and organizations that provide human resources for the nation. . ' Those selected for the publication publi-cation were done so after months of survey, planning and consultation. Some were recommended by fellow professionals, profes-sionals, some from articles In professional publications, some by virtue of position and prestige; pres-tige; and others by virtue of service, scholarship and background. back-ground. Mr. Weaver, a graduate of the University of Utah Graduate Gradu-ate School in Social Work in 1967, moved to Cedar City where he held positions with the Iron County Welfare Dept., and the Utah State Division of Family Services before taking his present position with the LDS Social Service System. While Jn Cedar, Mr. Weaver has been active In civic affairs including work on the Alcoholic Alcohol-ic Rehabilitation Board, the Youth Council, Senior Citizens and Red Cross. An actve member of the LDS Church, he is presently serving as Bishop of the Cedar Twelfth Ward. He Is married to the former Janet Hofheins of Beaver and they have five children. |
