" k. i ' - i 'If Three trips to Korea and other oth-er parts of the Orient; conductor conduct-or of a TV show weekly over station KXOP-tv North Platte, Nebraska, and hundreds upon hundreds of speaking engagements engage-ments throughout the nation . . . that's Jerry Beltz of Arnold, Neb. who will appear as guest of the Escalante Knife and Fork Club when members assemble as-semble for dinner Thursday, Jan. 31 at the Town and Country Coun-try Restaurant In addition to the above activities ac-tivities it should be mentioned that Beltz is also a cartoonist. As a matter of fact, that item might be mentioned first, inasmuch inas-much as cartooning along with speaking has provided a nice livlihood for the young man from mid-Nebraska. Beltz grew up a Nebraskan. He still is one. His travels have taken him to countless places but it still is the Cornhusker state that he prefers to call home. Following high school graduation, Beltz went to Kearney State College, which granted him an A.B. degree. Then a strange turn of events Influenced him to enroll in Central Cen-tral Baptists Theological Seminary, Sem-inary, Kansas City, Kansas from which he received his BD. degree. JERRY BELTZ I |
