Show Town and Country Restaurant at 12:30 p.m.; A practice session at the Masonic Temple immediately im-mediately following the luncheon, lun-cheon, and a special meeting at 8 p.m. All officers and members are urged to attend. Following the meeting the group enjoyed a social hour in the dining room. Refreshments were served on tables decorated with cupids and hearts. Hostesses for the evening were Neola Brown, Gerry and Gustin Gooding. OES Chapter plans for Grand Lecturer visitation Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of the Eastern Star, met in regular session Monday evening, Feb. 10, at the Masonic Temple. Mrs. Winifred Thompson, worthy matron, and Gustin 0. Cowling, worthy patron, presided. First time visitors Mel and Karen Hoffman of Beth-Arabah Chapter No. 24, Clearfield, Utah, now residing in Parowan, were escorted and introduced by Conductress Neola Brown, and welcomed by the worthy matron. Plans were outlined to receive the Grand Lecturer on Saturday, March 15. Five generations were together in Parowan recently for the occasion of the blessing of little Nichole Dalton. Nichole is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Dalton and has plenty of grandmothers for baby sitters. The five generations pictured here are Nichole, her father Mike, grandmother Clair Dalton, great grandmother, Metta Mortensen and great great grandmother Lula Bastian. Other family members attending the church services were grandparents Fred Dalton, Vern Mortensen and LaRue Prisbrey. |
