Show fi.. ft ' I'M - : V v V K Heart attack claims Floyd Matheson Funeral services for Floyd Matheson, 5(, of Cedar City were held Wednesday, Feb. 10 in the Cedar First Ward chapel. Matheson died Saturday Feb. 14 at his home of a heart attack. He was born May 14, 191ft in Parowan to David A. and Elizabeth Michelson Matheson. He married Mary MacFarlane Sept. 9, 1940 in Parowan. He was owner and operator of Matheson Custom Wholesale Meats in Cedar City and the former owner and operator of Southern Utah Wholesale Meats. He was a member of the LDS Church and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Cedar City; sons, Danny F. Don A., and Mac all of Cedar City; and a daughter, Mrs. L. J. (Mary FLOYD MATHESON Kay) Benson, St. George. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and six brothers and three sisters: Vic, Cedar City ; Claude, Scott and Joe, all of Parowan; Earl, Clearfield; Mac, Yerington, Nov.; Mrs. Henry (Jean) Bulloch, Cedar City; Mrs Aaron (Beth) Leigh, Yerington; Mrs. Ardon (Nellie) Hirschi, La Mirada, Calif. Burial was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary Mor-tuary of Cedar City. |
