Show Conscience bothers some Hunters Last fall the Division of Wildlife Resources received a written apology from a Utah hunter who admitted to shooting after hours. Now comes an apology from an out-of-state hunter who hunted without a license. And this time there was $75 in the envelope to cover his out-of-state big game license. The hunter, who wished to remain anonymous, traveled 500 miles to hunt in Utah but neglected to buy a license. Apparently, upon returning home, his conscience con-science got the better of him, he wrote a check and a letter, offering an apology and asking that the DWR "do with it (the money) as you would any other license money." The letter was signed from "a man who feels ashamed and needs to be forgiven." |
