Show Letters to the Editor Editor: Much attention is being given to recovering Methane gas from buried garbage, manure piles and other ways. This same gas is escaping through every plumbing plum-bing vent in every home, hotel and business place. I think it is a big factor in creating smog in places like Salt Lake City. The smart boys say it can't be done and it isn't there. I am doing it and can cut my gas bill 75 percent on my laundromat. It is very easily recovered. ' It is a perfect project for do-it-yourself-burn-your-own-gas people. My experiemnts convince me hotels can recover enough Methane gas to supply all their heating needs. My services are available to any hotel that wants to find out how much gas can be had. Doesn t it make sense to use this wasted gas. Doubting Thomases can see it working at 84 East Center Street in Parowan. J. W.Moore |
