Show Roger Allen new president of Parowan Liens club Roger Allen, assistant cashier cash-ier of the Bank of Iron County, Coun-ty, has been named president of the Parowan Lions Club for j the 1972-73 year following bal-i bal-i loting that was held last week. Allen succeeds Earl Bunn, who has headed the club for the past year and will turn the gavel over to Allen in July. Bunn, now becomes an ex-of-ficio member of the board of directors for next year. Other officers named during the election were James B. Pinkham, first vice president; Wimmer Mortensen, second vice president; J. W. Moore, third vice president; Charles Dalton, tail twister; Eugene Robb, secretary; Leo Hall, treasurer, and Dave Orton, Lion tamer. Other members of the board of directors will be 0. K.' Nielsen and James Fare. Several members of the Parowan Par-owan club and their wives attended at-tended a Zone Social for members mem-bers of district 28H at Zion Park Saturday night. They were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bunn, Mr. and Mrs. James Pinkham, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Robb, and James Fare. The Parowan club was to furnish a part of the musical program, and the above members took a group of musicians from the Parowan Paro-wan High School under the direction of John Talcott. |
