Show Area students to graduate from LDS Institute in exercises May 21 Dr. Joseph C. Felix, Director of the Cedar City Institute of Religion at Southern Utah State College announces plans for the 35th Annual Commencement Com-mencement The program will be held Sunday, May 21 In the new Institute of Religion at 650 West Center Street at 8:15 pjn. The exercises will honor 47 students who have completed 24 quarter hours of classwork In addition six students will be recognized with Special Certificates of Achievement for having earned 30 quarter hours of credit Students , from the immediate immed-iate area who are being honor-ed honor-ed at the exercises will In: elude: Lewis J. Dover, LeLantf O. Fife, Nancy Hafen Grimshaw, Diane Forsyth Hoff, Weston . H. Hall, Pamela A. Hunter, Garth A. Jones, Sophia Jones, Colleen Ann Sandberg, Susan Seegmlller, Maria Spendlove Smith and Ross Whicker. , The speakers for the event ' will be Paul F. Graf and Pam-ela Pam-ela Hunter, students at the In- t stitute. The address to the graduates will be given toy Theron Ashcroft, former President Pres-ident of the Cedar West Stake and presently a counselor in the St George LDS Temple Presidency. He has served as President of the Iron Mission for the LDS Church. The commencement is open to the public. |
